Zcash Holders Will Receive Ycash Airdrop

On July 18th, Ycash will fork away from Zcash. Ycash will launch at block height 570,000. All Zcash holders will be airdropped Ycash coins at a 1:1 ratio.

Ycash project is a completely independent entity from both the Electric Coin Company and the Zcash Foundation.

The new Ycash fork will be changing the founders reward to rate to 5%, Changing Proof of Work algorithm to be Equihash(192,7) and changing the addresses to start with “yc” instead of “zc”.
