Edge Networks, the Peer-to-peer serverless infrastructure powered by blockchain technology has won Best Edge Computing Platform in the IoT Innovation category at the Future Digital Awards 2019 provided by Juniper Research.
Edge networks offers a variety of blockchain based decentralized services. Edge networking is a distributed computing paradigm which brings data storage and computation as close to the point of need as possible, pushing applications, data and computing power away from centralized data centers.
Currently Edge Networks offers two main services, edge compute where you can rent RAM or CPU units for as low as $0.007/hr and edge storage where you can rent storage space for $0.009/TB. Edge Networks has its own EDGE token which is which is available on Bitfinex.
